When you book a session with Q.Warfield Photography, I want you to feel relaxed so you can enjoy the experience. Below are some questions that I’m frequently asked. If you still have questions, please feel free to contact me and I’ll get back to you right away.
- What does my session fee include?
Each session includes the Photographer's time and artistic retouching and editing of each photo. Each session lasts about an hour on-location with custom photography that is catered to your family's needs and unique style. The best 20 -30 images are selected by the Photographer and you will be presented with a password-protected gallery that showcases your final images within 14 days from your session. Please refer to selected package for print sizes.
"Sneak Peek preview images will be posted on my Facebook fan page within 7 days, and you are welcome to tag yourself and share the image, but I respectfully ask you to not crop out my logo or alter the image in any way.
- What should we wear to our photo shoot?
Clothing is an important part of your custom photography session. Long gone are the days of "matchy-matchy" clothing and white shirts for everyone. Add color, add accessories, be casual, be yourselves!!!
- That's what this is all about! Here are some basic tips:
For group/family shots it is best to coordinate.
For maternity it is best to bring at least two outfits. One should be very comfortable and natural with a top that is easy to show off your baby bump, another should be dressier. Bring comfortable outfits as photo shoots often last over an hour.
For newborns the most ideal images are bare babies with blankets and props. LOTS of hats and headbands are STRONGLY encouraged.
- Where do photo sessions take place?
You name it! I’ll be there! Popular photo session locations are parks, green spaces, your home, and downtown. Your session price includes locations within a 30-mile radius of Nashville, TN free of charge.
- Do you travel for photo sessions?
Absolutely!
- When do you schedule photo sessions?
You tell me! I work around your schedule as much as possible. Since weekends are easiest to get families all together, they tend to be the most popular, which also means they book up fast. I like to book any session early morning or late afternoon for best lighting.
- When do we get to see our photos?
As soon as possible! I know how exciting it is to have professional family portraits done, so my goal is always to have a sneak peek from your session up on my Facebook page or blog within a week after your session. You’ll receive the rest of your photos in a full-resolution online gallery within 7 days of your portrait session date and 30 days for Wedding sessions.
- Can we get our image files on a CD?
Images are uploaded to a Pass gallery! Long gone are the days of Cd's!
- I’m concerned about privacy. Do you have to share my photos online?
If you would prefer that I not share your photos on Facebook or on my website, just let me know. However, I only share sneak peeks on my Facebook page or my blog. Please note that it can take up to two weeks to have access to the full gallery and I will not provide a sneak peek beforehand.
- How do we book?
It couldn’t be easier! Use my online booking system to schedule your session and I’ll take care of the rest. It’s helpful if you can send me family member’s names and ages ahead of time, so that I’m prepared before the session.
